The pull toward color and fabric followed
But somewhere along the way, I kept coming back to fabric.
Why? The answer was simple: the place I grew up. Surat, India — the city that gives the world diamonds and textiles.
If you've never been, imagine markets overflowing with color, prints, and fabric. That's just... normal life there. India, in general, has always believed in maximalism — More color, more story, more soul in every thread. Growing up in Surat, I fell in love with fabric itself — the textures, the weight of good cotton, the way a print could change the entire feel of a room.
